About the calculator inputs

Numbers you type into calculators — current savings, target expenses, withdrawal rates, planned retirement age — are processed entirely in your browser and stored only in the URL hash (the part after the # symbol), which lives on your device. We do not transmit these values to any server. We cannot see them.

Third-party services (analytics, ads) may record that you visited a page, but the numbers you typed into calculators are not transmitted. The URL hash is not sent to servers in HTTP requests.

What we collect directly

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving, cookie-free, and aggregates visit counts and referrer data without identifying individual users.

Advertising and third-party services

We currently use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on Weirdly Wealthy. As the site grows, we may transition to or add Mediavine as an additional ad management partner. This privacy policy covers both services.

Google AdSense may use cookies for ad personalization and measurement. You can opt out at Google’s Ad Settings. More about how Google uses data: Google’s partner-sites policy.

Mediavine (if/when activated) serves advertisements through a network of advertising partners. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visits. For Mediavine’s advertising partners, please review Mediavine’s Privacy Policy.

The data collected by advertising partners may include: your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website, visit timing, and unique identifiers stored in cookies. We do not share information you provide directly to us with any advertising partner.

Other third-party services

1. Google Fonts — serves Fraunces and Inter. Google may log IP addresses for font delivery analytics.
2. Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare privacy policy.

Cookies

Weirdly Wealthy itself does not set first-party cookies. The following may be set by third-party services:

Advertising cookies (set by AdSense, Mediavine, and their partners): used to deliver relevant advertisements, prevent repeat ads, and measure campaign effectiveness. Typical retention: 30 days to 13 months.

Analytics cookies (set by Google Analytics): used to measure how visitors use this site. Aggregated and anonymized. Typical retention: 2 years from last interaction.

You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Your choices and controls

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page or the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page.

For EU/UK users: We honor Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) signals through Mediavine. A consent management platform will appear on your first visit.

For California residents: Under CCPA, you can opt out of the sale of personal information via mediavine.com/do-not-sell.

Your rights

Because we collect no account data and do not store calculator inputs, most requests will be short: we do not have identifiable data about you to provide, correct, or delete.
